A10's fourth yearbook features a selection of 20 projects previously published in A10 magazine, ranging from a chapel in Tarnów to a shopping mall in Montesarchio, from a rehabilitation centre in Arnhem and a mixed-use development in Leeds to private houses in Landskronen and Cermin. This book opens with essays on the development of new sustainable systems, on the architecture of private schools, on RUHR 2010 - the 25th anniversary of the European Capital - and on the representation of European countries through the design of pavilions for the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. Furthermore it contains interviews, with architect and editor Stefano Boeri on La Maddalena, the (unused) convention complex for the G8, and his work for magazines Domus and Abitare, and with architect Bjarne Mastenbroek on the state of Dutch architecture and his new role as president of the Royal Institute of Dutch Architects.
