From Kassel to Almere

The Pavilions were originally built by the Belgian architects Paul Robbrecht and Hilde Daem as temporary exhibition halls for 1992's Documenta IX in the German city of Kassel. Two years later they were moved to Almere-Stad, where the pavilion complex serves as space for Museum De Paviljoens.
